Nurse said Sam was wagging his tail this morning and eating like a horse; I get to pick him up this afternoon! I’ll post pics of my new and “improved” Sam later this evening. By the way he is a Catahoula Leopard/Black Mouth Cur mix – I personally think he is the most handsome puppy dog ever. Of course I am his mommy and am probably a little biased… I’m sure he’ll be excited to tell his own story once he gets home.
Hooray for Sam! That is wonderful that he gets to come home today! He is a very handsome young man. We can’t wait to hear from him and see more pictures.

And we called it, we knew you were a Catahoula something. You are only the second Catahoula Tripawd we’ve met here, and the first Catahoula/Black Mouth Cur we’ve ever seen in our lives. Talk about original!
